The team try to deal with a group of rhinoceros-type beasts from the Eocene. Danny shows up with a woman from the future who tries to help.

After an anomaly opens a large insect-like creature breaks through. The team are pushed to their limits to make sure it returns home. Abby’s brother ends up driving through the anomaly when he tries to find out what her job is and team try to rescue him.

Cutter, Connor, Abby and Becker battle to send the diictodons back to their time zone whilst trying to stop journalist Mick Harper from exposing the ARC and it’s secrets at the same time. The rest of the team have to fend of Helen and her Cleaner Replicas.

Giant polar Pandas storm through a zoo. The team must contain them while trying to find out the mystery of a haunted house in which a future camoflage beast is waiting for them.

Three teenage boys break into the local haunted house daring one another to go further and further into the abandoned building. But the innocent games soon take a sinister turn when the house comes alive and a terrifying creature attacks them. In the aftermath of the deadly attack, the only survivor is arrested for murder but is never convicted.
Years later, the hapless young man is freed from jail, but is still too tormented to confront what really happened.

Meanwhile Cutter’s (Douglas Henshall) research leads him to predict that the next anomaly will open in this same ‘haunted house’. Jenny (Lucy Brown), Connor (Andrew-Lee Potts) and Abby (Hannah Spearritt) are sent to investigate and uncover the mystery surrounding the house.
They track down the survivor and discover that the house is actually home to a terrifying Camouflage creature from the future, a beast that can change shape and form to disguise itself until it is practically invisible.

The team also find themselves in trouble with the law when suspicious detective Danny Quinn (Jason Flemying) takes an instant dislike to them and their interest in the house, culminating in Connor’s arrest. But just what is Quinn’s own interest in the house? His almost constant presence there underlines that it is certainly far more than a professional one.

A deadly game of cat and mouse plays out within the house and the surrounding suburb as the team tries to capture the creature – not easy when they can barely see it. With Connor behind bars, and both Quinn and the creature on their tails, Abby, Jenny and Cutter must draw on all their expertise to discover the truth.

Cutter and the rest of the team are still trying to come to terms with Stephen’s death. A creature that looks like an Egyptian god comes through an anomaly that opens in the British Museum. Egyptologist Sarah Page and new head of Security Captain Becker attempt to find where the creature has gone.

When an exhibition of ancient Egyptian relics comes to the British Museum, an anomaly opens in a mysterious monument called the ‘Sun Cage’. A creature emerges from it – a Pristichampsus, a kind of monstrous crocodile that can run on two legs. This creature, which comes from a past much more distant than the Egypt of the Pharaohs, somehow became worshipped as a god in that civilization, and is now portrayed in the hieroglyphics on the Sun Cage.

The murderous creature wreaks havoc in the museum before escaping into the city. Helped by Sarah Page (Laila Rouass) the smart and sexy archaeologist at the museum, Cutter (Douglas Henshall) Abby (Hannah Spearritt), Connor (Andrew-Lee Potts) and their new Head of Security, Captain Becker (Ben Mansfield) must track it down before it claims any more victims.

A race against time ensues as the trio track the monster across central London, from the busy banks of the Thames, to the Southbank and Royal Festival Hall. Back at the British Museum, Connor and Sarah guard the Sun Cage and repeatedly attempt to prevent other creatures from bursting through. During their battle, Connor inadvertently ‘locks’ the anomaly shut. Unclear how or why this amazing development occurs he nonetheless feels the beginnings of an idea. He also begins to believe in the legendary curse attached to the Sun Cage and convinces himself he is next in line for the crocodile God’s revenge.

While the team are tangled up with the rather tetchy living legend, Lester has his own troubles when he is summoned to Whitehall by Christine Johnson. Described by Lester himself as a ‘velociraptor, only better dressed. Johnson displays a rather unhealthy interest in the work of the ARC. The meeting is interrupted by the arrival of a solider wanting to speak with her. Distracted she ushers Lester away and engages in a furious conversation with the military man. He shows her a photo of an ancient artefact and apologises for his failed mission to retrieve it telling her that he and his team were attacked by predators.

Can the team safely deposit the creature back into the past, where it can retain its place in Egyptian mythology without Ammut claiming anymore victims? Who is Johnson and what is her interest in the activities of the team? And just what will Cutter do with Sarah Page? She’s seen and heard too much to be dismissed by a Jenny Lewis (Lucy Brown) press release.

It’s the series finale and tension is at an all-time high. Cutter and the team are trapped in an abandoned Ministry of Defence bunker, surrounded by creatures. Leek, meanwhile, is revelling in the control he has.

He believes that humanity is doomed and that the only people who will survive and prosper are those who have the backing of the predators. His vision is that his army of creatures will make him the most powerful man in a new and troubled world.

Is there anyone the team can trust? Will anyone be able to save them? Is Leek truly intent on releasing the creatures? And, if so, what hope exists for the world outside? Who will survive?

Time is running out for Cutter and his team…

Episode 7

While Cutter is reeling from the revelation that Helen helped Leek capture creatures from anomalies, Connor and Abby come face to face with Caroline. Abby demands to know the whereabouts of Rex but Caroline confesses she doesn’t know and she pleads with Connor to forgive her.

Meanwhile Leek releases a Silurian scorpion at a busy beach and tells Lester to back off or there will be creatures released throughout the UK. Lester doesn’t know that Cutter and the rest of the team are captured, and the only person he can reach is Stephen. Stephen responds but he tells Lester this will be the last time.

Whilst Stephen battles the scorpion, Abby, Connor and Jenny face a hungry sabre tooth cat. Cutter watches on in horror. In a desperate attempt to save them he makes Leek plug his laptop computer into the mainframe. By doing so the systems all suddenly fail and Cutter reveals Connor planted a virus in Leek’s laptop which he just uploaded. The doors open allowing Connor, Abby and Jenny to escape, but so too do the doors of all the animal cages.

The team try to find their way out but in a bunker filled with rampaging creatures and the going is tough. Abby finds Rex and with his help they find a ventilation shaft to ground level and alert Lester to their whereabouts.

Cutter is being hunted through the bunker by one of Leek’s future predators. In a gruelling fight Cutter manages to defeat the predator, but his relief is short lived when Leek reveals he has a whole army of future predators, all under his control via neural clamps devices implanted in their spinal columns.

Faced with certain death Cutter manages to destroy one of the neural clamps. It short circuits all of the other and in so doing releases the future predators from Leek’s control. As the creatures from the future turn on their former captor, Cutter takes his opportunity to escape the immediate danger. With the future predators now on the loose, the team realise that if they escape the safety of humanity in the present is under threat and one member is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. The race is on to save the world but who will survive to continue the fight?

A gigantic mammoth rampages across the M25 motorway. Elsewhere, a future predator appears in ARC.

Episode 6

After discovering conclusive evidence that someone has been shadowing the team and interfering in the past, Cutter’s suspicions fall on Lester and Jenny. He is determined to prove that one or the other of them – or perhaps both – is the traitor.

His plans are interrupted when an anomaly is detected and Lester’s worst nightmare comes to pass – a giant Colombian mammoth has appeared and is rampaging on a section of busy road in broad daylight, scattering cars and sending pedestrians running for their lives. Cutter and the team respond but Stephen is nowhere to be seen.

Dealing with the confused and angry mammoth requires every ounce of Cutter’s ingenuity but when the anomaly closes Cutter faces an even greater problem – how do you hide a mammoth? With the press about to break through the cordon Jenny has erected, Cutter formulates a new plan and with the help of Connor and Abby manages to trap the mammoth in the back of a lorry.

The team get away with it by the skin of their teeth, but Cutter is bewildered and angry with Stephen when he finally turns up, too late to be any real help and with no convincing explanation for his absence. To make matters worse Stephen has brought Helen with him. Cutter refuses to talk to either of them; instead he is determined to track down the enemy within. He sets a trap, letting only Connor and Abby in on his plan. They fake the appearance of an anomaly on the detector to see who will go to it first, knowing that whoever it is must be the traitor. The plan works, and reveals that the traitor is… Jenny.

Cutter is badly shaken by the revelation, but when he confronts her, she claims to have no idea what he is talking about – she received an anonymous text telling her to meet him there. The team discover that it is actually Leek who has set up the innocent Jenny. Not only that, but he has set a future predator loose at the ARC and is somehow controlling it to track down and kill Lester.

After a harrowing chase Lester manages to kill the predator and he tells his security force officers to find Leek and arrest him. Meanwhile Cutter and the team track down Caroline to a disused MOD base. Leek once again manages to fool them and he captures the team. When they come around they are shocked, not only to learn that Helen is in cahoots with Leek, but also he’s acquired a menagerie of creatures from different times.

Episode 4

An anomaly opens underwater, dragging a teenage boy into a flooded drain. Professor Nick Cutter and the team launch a frantic search that leads them from the drain to a nearby canal.

Jenny narrowly escapes a grizzly end when the boat she is in comes under attack by a shark, but a strange discovery during the creature’s post-mortem suggests it may not have come from the past. The creature’s secret weapon is a giant proboscis that shoots from its jaws to trap its prey, clear evidence of an unusual evolutionary development. It is from the future.

The team are confronted by some sinister creatures from the future – strong and intelligent, the mermaid-like beings are a formidable bunch, giving the team their toughest challenge yet.

Stephen Hart (is convinced that there must be a second shark in the water and that’s what killed the teenage boy, but Cutter isn’t convinced. He thinks there is a different creature out there and he feels certain they are looking for it in the wrong place. Cutter disobeys the orders from James Lester and follows his hunch.

With the help of Connor Temple and Abby Maitland he records some strange “singing” sounds coming from below the water. They then play them back, hoping to lure the creature to them. The plan works a little too well when a creature jumps out of the water and grabs Abby, dragging her beneath the water.

When a golfer is killed by an airborne dinosaur, the team must capture it and locate the anomaly that it came from however, all may not be what it seems.

Helen Cutter uses the opening of a new anomaly to escape from custody at the Home Office, leaving in her wake a flock of dodos.
Tom and Duncan steal one of the birds, unaware that they carry a deadly parasite, and when Tom is bitten and begins to feel the urge to attack people, he seeks out Abby for answers.
As Abby desperately tries to evade Tom’s lethal bite, the others try to track him down before a pandemic is unleashed.
