Professor Nick Cutter and his team are investigating the sighting of what seems to be an extinct dinosaur. They travel to the Forest of Dean, where it was seen, to explain how it appeared and discover an even stranger phenomenon, while the escaped creature is on a killing spree.
In the course of investigating a mysterious animal sighting, Professor Nick Cutter comes face-to-face with a gigantic creature he believed to have been extinct for 200 million years.
But as he and his team struggle to find out where it has come from, a deadly predator goes on the rampage in the local school.
